WELCOME TO OUR 11AM SERVICE! Full childcare and children’s ministries are available every Sunday at Kingdom Kids, down the hall. All children from infant to 5th grade must be checked in immediately upon arrival. We also have a room dedicated exclusively for Woven nursing mothers with a live video feed of our service, down the hall. Please ask an usher for directions.
10:30AM FELLOWSHIP TIME! Every Sunday we open up coffee before the service for fellowship out in the foyer at 10:30AM! Come early, find parking, and treat yourself to free church coffee OR purchase a specialty drink at our community coffee bar (proceeds go to Kingdom City mission)! Refreshments will also be served after the service so stick around!
9AM ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL: At Woven, one of our mission priorities is “Insightful Teaching.” Every Sunday at 9AM we have Sunday school for adults (for a class sample, click here). Pastor Wayne is teaching his Survey Through the Entire Bible class. If you are interested, pls email: email@example.com and meet in the fellowship hall at 9AM on Sunday! Youth and children’s ministry ARE available during this time.
7:30PM WEDNESDAY NIGHT PRAYER MEETS: Need to get your prayer on? Want to belt out your praises? Want to pray-fight? Then come out to Wednesday night prayer meeting, held every Wednesday @ 7:30pm! This is a joint KC bridge ministry; youth and children’s ministry are available during this time.
WORKPLACE LUNCHES: Part of Woven’s vision is sanctified workplaces (“Sanctifying Monday to Friday”). To that end, we have workplace lunch meetings in several key strategic areas: Galleria, MedCenter, and Downtown. The purpose is to meet for directed spiritual conversation over lunch using our Examen of Conscience, inviting intentional discipleship and holistic outreach into our professional lives. If interested, speak to Andrew Ye!
3/1 - 3/3 MEN’S BEACH RETREAT (and sons 6 and up too!) We have set Friday evening, March 1 to Sunday morning, March 3 for our men’s beach retreat down by the ocean at Galveston (we’ll be back in time for church at 11AM) We look forward to a great time of food, fellowship, and relaxation! If you are interested in going, email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will include you in our communications!
3/9 FOOD BANK VOLUNTEERING: In the spirit of our mission priority of “holistic outreach” and renewed emphasis on the poor, we are embarking on a new monthly rhythm for our community groups. Once a month, instead of meeting in people’s homes, we will be out in the community, serving the poor. For the month of March, we are volunteering together at the Houston Food Bank. It is a great time of learning about food distribution, working together as a team and having fun while doing it, and the children enjoy serving together at the Food Bank. If you are interested, email Andrew Ye, our Woven Groups coordinator, at email@example.com.
3/22 - 3/24 WOMEN’S BEACH RETREAT (and daughters too!) We have set Friday evening, March 22 to Sunday morning, March 24 for our women (and daughters) beach retreat down by the ocean at Galveston (we’ll be back in time for church at 11AM) We look forward to a great time of food, fellowship, and relaxation! If you are interested in going, email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will include you in our communications!
